Robert J. Struble, President and CEO

Bob Struble, iBiquity’s President and CEO, of iBiquity Digital Corporation, is a recognized leader in the digital transformation of AM and FM radio. As the head of iBiquity Digital since 1996, Bob has overall responsibility for the company's efforts to successfully commercialize HD Radio™ technology, the first dramatic change to radio broadcasting since the introduction of FM.
Bob founded iBiquity (then known as USA Digital Radio) in 1998, spinning the company out from parent CBS and gaining financial backing from the nation's largest radio broadcasters. During his tenure, he has built iBiquity's assets through merger and acquisitions, assembled iBiquity's world-class technical and management teams, supervised the successful development and launch of HD Radio products, obtained approval for the technology from the Federal Communications Commission and secured the support of the investment community, raising over $200 million to date. Among his other accolades, Bob was named the 2005 Maryland Entrepreneur of The Year by Ernst & Young.
Prior to heading up iBiquity, Bob was President of Westinghouse Communications and Westinghouse Wireless Solutions Company, two business units of CBS focused on digital product technology development and commercialization. Previously, Bob gained experience in strategy development, mergers and acquisition, design engineering, marketing, and new business development at McKinsey & Company, M.A. Hanna and Solvay. While at McKinsey, he consulted to Fortune 100 companies on setting up and spinning out entrepreneurial ventures.
Bob is on the Consumer Electronics Association Board of Industry Leaders, and he is a past member of the Electronics Industry Association Board of Governors.
Bob is quoted frequently on radio's digital transition, and his views have been featured in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Business Week, Time and major industry publications. He has appeared on CNN, Fox News, CNBC, Nightly Business Report, CSPAN and numerous local radio and TV broadcasts.
Bob earned his Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from MIT where he was elected into the Tau Beta Pi and Sigma Xi engineering honor societies, and an MBA from Harvard, where he graduated with high distinction as a Baker Scholar.
Jeffrey P. Jury, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer
Jeffrey Jury is responsible for day-to-day operational management for the rollout of iBiquity Digital's HD Radio System, both in the U.S. and international markets. In this capacity, Jury leads a team of business and technical professionals focused on driving the implementation of digital radio in the broadcast, automotive and radio receiver industries. Since joining iBiquity Digital in 1997, Jury has been responsible for leading the company's major strategic initiatives, including building a multi-industry coalition of product development partners, commercializing the technology, and working with radio station groups and receiver manufacturers to bring HD Radio to market. He was also a key participant in the company's various asset acquisition and financing activities which has resulted in iBiquity becoming a leading technology and intellectual property corporation owned by the nation's largest radio broadcasters and other key technology, media and financial corporations.
Prior to joining iBiquity Digital, Jury was vice president for digital broadcasting and director of strategic development for Westinghouse Wireless Solutions Company, where he was responsible for establishing new ventures in emerging technologies. Previously, he had held a number of positions at Westinghouse Electric Corporation focusing on business development, strategic analysis and operational performance improvement since 1989. Prior to joining Westinghouse, Jury was involved in operational improvement planning with Touche Ross & Company, and before that, software development with American Management Systems.
Jeffrey Jury earned a BS degree in information systems and industrial management from Carnegie Mellon University and an MBA from the Darden School of Business, University of Virginia.
James Spencer, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Jim Spencer joined iBiquity in July 2007 and is responsible for the company's finance, accounting and information technology functions. Prior to joining iBiquity, Jim served as the Chief Financial Officer, Secretary and Treasurer of Allion Healthcare. During Spencer's tenure at Allion, he raised over $130 million of public and private capital, including an initial public offering and a follow-on offering. Prior to Allion, Spencer was an investment banker working closely with high growth companies on raising capital and advising on strategic transactions. Albert D. Shuldiner, Senior Vice President and General Counsel
Albert Shuldiner was appointed Vice President and General Counsel of iBiquity Digital in early 2001. He is responsible for overseeing the company's legal affairs, and shaping the company's regulatory and intellectual property strategies, including representing the company before US and international government agencies and industry standard setting boards.
Prior to joining iBiquity Digital, Mr. Shuldiner was an attorney in the Washington, DC office of Vinson & Elkins where he assisted emerging technology companies in their regulatory and corporate structuring activities. For the past five years, Mr. Shuldiner has represented iBiquity Digital, leading its efforts to develop and implement iBiquity Digital's regulatory strategy. In this capacity, he was a primary author of the company's October 1999 petition for rulemaking, which initiated the FCC's current consideration of its AM and FM digital broadcast iDABä technology. Mr. Shuldiner also represented the company before the National Radio Systems Committee (NRSC) and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU).
At Vinson & Elkins, Mr. Shuldiner concentrated on representing new companies developing infrastructure projects or new wireless and wireline telecommunications services. He provided regulatory and business counseling to radio and television station owners, developers of satellite systems, submarine cable system operators, local exchange operators and numerous domestic and international telecommunications system operators. Prior to joining Vinson & Elkins, Mr. Shuldiner served as General Counsel of the Information Industry Association (IIA), a trade association of database companies and electronic publishers, representing the association on telecommunications and intellectual property issues.
Albert Shuldiner earned a Bachelor's Degree in international studies from The Johns Hopkins University and a Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
Stephen T. Baldacci, Senior Vice President, Marketing
Steve Baldacci joined iBiquity in October of 2006 and is responsible for accelerating the mass adoption of HD Radio technology by manufacturers, retailers and consumers. To achieve this, Baldacci manages a team of professionals with diverse backgrounds in radio brand development, retail management, sales, consumer marketing, public relations and broadcaster communications. The team includes talented people with backgrounds in engineering and marketing who have achieved success with the likes of Sony, Tweeter, Clear Channel, CBS, XM Satellite Radio and Westinghouse. The team is actively involved throughout the radio and retail industries and serves many leadership roles via committee board level positions with The Consumer Electronics Association, The National Broadcasters Association, CEDIA and MERA.
Dr. Brian W. Kroeger, D.Sc., Chief Scientist
As Chief Scientist, Dr. Brian Kroeger is responsible for the continued development and optimization of the In-Band On-Channel (IBOC) HD Radio system under development by iBiquity Digital Corp. He has been the primary inventor of this technology, which formed the basis of intellectual property for USA Digital Radio, and later iBiquity Digital Corp. He continues to refine the system design while adding new features, and provides day-to-day technical guidance and support.
Joseph F. D'Angelo, Vice President, Advanced Services
As Vice President of Advanced Services, Joe is responsible for strategic and product planning for HD Radio data services. In addition, Joe oversees the licensing of iBiquity's broadcast and receiver data software and is responsible for building strategic relationships with content and service providers as well as third party application developers.
Prior to joining iBiquity, Joe was a Principal at PricewaterhouseCoopers in their Information, Communication and Entertainment consulting practice. During his tenure, he worked closely with Telecommunications and Entertainment companies assisting with strategic planning, corporate restructurings, global expansion and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining PricewaterhouseCoopers, Joe gained experience in marketing, business development and technology as a manager with Andersen Consulting and a consultant to A&E Networks.
Joseph D'Angelo earned his Bachelor of Arts in History from the College of the Holy Cross and an MBA from Columbia University, where he graduated with honors.
Judith L. Kennedy, Vice President, Human Resources
Judy Kennedy has been vice president of human resources and administration since April 1999, with responsibility for managing all personnel related issues for iBiquity Digital. In this capacity, she leads the recruitment efforts to attract top technical and marketing talent. She establishes and manages benefits, compensation and organizational development programs. As iBiquity Digital commercializes its technology and expands business development activities, Kennedy is responsible for building a domestic and international team focused on digital radio implementation.
Prior to joining iBiquity Digital, Kennedy was director of human resources for RSL COM, U.S.A., a leading provider of voice and data communications services. In that role, she had overall human resources responsibility for 300 people with offices throughout the United States. Prior to that, she held positions of increasing responsibility in human resources at Westinghouse/CBS. Kennedy's background includes experience in recruiting, training, compensation, benefits, personnel relations, and organizational development.
Judy Kennedy earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and a Master of Science degree in instructional design and technology from the University of Pittsburgh. She is certified by the American Compensation Association as a CCP (certified compensation professional) and is in the process of obtaining her certification as a SPHR (senior professional in human resources) through the Society for Human Resources Management.
Jeffery McGannon, Vice President, OEM Business Development
In his role as Vice President, OEM Business Development, Jeff McGannon is responsible for developing the automotive rollout strategy of iBiquity Digital's HD Radio™ technology. In this capacity, he is charged with developing alliances with automotive manufacturers; licensing the technology to receiver manufacturers; working with the manufacturers to commercialize HD Radio products; and promoting the continued adoption of HD Radio technology throughout the industry. McGannon will also work closely with telematics organizations to develop business plans that make use of the array of new data services enabled by HD Radio technology. Prior to joining iBiquity Digital in 2000, McGannon was Director at Panasonic Automotive Electronics, a leading supplier of automotive electronic products. He earned his B.S. in business from the University of Cincinnati.
Gene Parrella, Vice President, IC Development
Gene Parrella directs all commercial integrated circuit development activities for iBiquity Digital. In this role, Parrella is leading the iBiquity engineering teams that are finalizing the design of DSP and ASIC solutions, which will enable consumers to receive IBOC digital AM and FM broadcasts in car, home and portable radios. Parrella's teams also have responsibility for the successful transfer of iBiquity's IBOC technology onto its semiconductor partners' chips, and support the receiver manufacturers that are using these DSP-based and dedicated ASIC solutions. Parrella joined iBiquity in January 2002.
Parrella came to iBiquity following a sixteen-year career focused on integrated circuit design and engineering management. Immediately prior to joining iBiquity, Parrella served as Director of Engineering for the TranSwitch Corporation's successful CellBus™ line of ATM switch chips used in xDSL access multiplexers. While at TranSwitch, Parrella was responsible for engineering teams involved in chip design, software development and integration testing of new products. Preceding this work, he held management and product development roles in TranSwitch's ATM, T1 and E1 product businesses. He holds five patents in the areas of telecommunications chip and system design. Parrella's work history also includes integrated circuit design engineering roles at Fairchild Defense and Allied-Signal Aerospace.
Gene Parrella earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, and holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Johns Hopkins University.
David Salemi, Vice President, Marketing
Scott Stull, Vice President, Broadcast Business Development

In his role as vice president of broadcast business development, Scott Stull is responsible for developing the broadcaster rollout strategy of iBiquity Digital's HD Radio technology. In this capacity, he is charged with promoting the U.S. and international adoption of HD Radio™ technology by AM and FM stations, radio groups and the industry as a whole; licensing the technology to transmission equipment manufacturers; and working with manufacturers to commercialize HD Radio products. Prior to joining iBiquity Digital in early 1999, Stull was Director of Development at EducAide Software, a developer of database systems in the
