North Sioux City, SD, July 28, 2008 – Radiosophy® recently announced that their popular HD100™ HD Radio™ receiver is now only $49.95 after a mail-in rebate that is being offered as part of the HD Digital Radio™ Alliance’s text messaging campaign.
The Alliance recently announced the campaign, which invites consumers to text “UPGRADE” to 34343. The intent of the campaign is to provide consumers, who agree to opt-in, a high value reward for doing so.
Once consumers “opt-in”, they’ll receive weekly text messages that will include a URL for a $50 mail-in rebate when they purchase an HD Radio receiver. Additional messages will include station guide and buyer guide information. Consumers have the option to opt-out at any time by texting “STOP to 34343”.
With the Radiosophy HD100, you can receive everything your area has to offer, including standard AM/FM, digital AM/FM and multiple streams. Additional features include:
- Line-in input which allows users to play MP3 and other audio devices through the radio speakers
- A“scan HD” feature that scans only for HD Radio stations in the listening area
- A “scan all” feature that scans for analog and HD stations in the listening area
- All the common clock radio functions – alarm, snooze, and sleep
- Presets - up to five FM station presets and five AM station presets
