From Emmis: KSHE2 made HD Radio™ history this weekend!

KSHE2, Classic KSHE made HD Radio™ history this weekend! Sunday, August 10th at 8PM at the Washington Town and Country Fair in Washington, Missouri, KSHE2 broadcasted the Charlie Daniels Band concert live as it happened! HD Radio technology continues to make headway and now KSHE2 becomes the first ever HD2 channel to broadcast a live rock concert.

Sunday's broadcast included behind the scenes color and interviews as well as the actual concert with incredible digital fidelity. The KSHE2 engineering staff spent many hours preparing for the first live concert broadcast in the history of HD Radio broadcasting, ensuring that everything sounded as amazing as only HD Radio can.

KSHE2, Classic KSHE has been broadcasting its Free Form Classic Rock since December of 2006 and boasts a library of more than 4000 songs with original programming like “Brit Rock” and “The Dance.” Along with KSHE2’s Free Form play list, broadcasting The Charlie Daniels Band concert from the Washington Town and Country Fair is another “first” in a list of HD Radio programming milestones!
