Miami's Power 96 Launches "HD2 Dance," An All-Music Channel In HD Radio™

MIAMI, Florida, July 25, 2005 – Power 96, WPOW-FM, a Beasley Broadcast Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: BBGI) station, today announced the availability of a new sister dance music station, HD-2, now broadcasting in crystal clear, high definition sound on WPOW-FM’s expanded HD Radio™ spectrum.  HD-2 is Miami’s first multi-cast programming available through HD Radio technology.

The commercial-free, subscription-free, all music channel broadcasting 24 hours a day features the world’s best dance music including Tiesto, Juliet, Deep Dish, Chemical Brothers, 4 Strings, and dance remixes of the hottest Top 40 records.  The new station, programmed by Power 96’s in-house music team and the music director from Radio 105 Network – Hit Italia, can be accessed with an HD Radio tuner by setting the tuner to “96.5 – HD-2.”  Listeners who haven’t yet purchased a tuner will be able sample the new sound from the Power 96 web site, www.power96.com.

HD Radio is a new technology that enables AM and FM radio stations to broadcast their programs digitally, providing listeners with radically improved audio quality, better signal reception, song and artist information, as well as the ability to choose between different programming on the same channel.  HD Radio tuners are available for purchase on the Internet or at leading consumer electronics retailers nationwide.
