Cambridge Sounworks Introduces The Soundworks Radio 820HD Designed For Crystal Clear Reception Of HD Radio Broadcasting

DENVER, CO, September 13, 2006 – Cambridge SoundWorks® announced the introduction of its SoundWorks® Radio 820HD stereo table radio at the CEDIA EXPO in Denver, Colorado today (Booth #579). The newest HD Radio™ receiver brings together Cambridge SoundWorks’ vast experience in the high-performance table radio category with the newest technology in radio broadcasting. During the development of the SoundWorks Radio 820HD, special attention was paid to ensure the best possible reception of HD Radio broadcast. A unique-in-class telescoping antenna supports the FM band, while a generously large internal ferrite antenna supports the AM band. As a result, the SoundWorks Radio 820HD will consistently deliver all HD Radio technology’s great new features: FM channels with near-CD quality sound, AM radio with FM-quality sound, and extra HD2 multicast channels featuring expanded formats.
