FORT MYERS AND NAPLES, Florida, Feb. 1, 2007– – Sports Radio 770 ESPN WWCN-AM, a Beasley Broadcast Group station, is giving away 10 HD Radio™ car radio converters to winning listeners this week through its “Score a TD with HD” promotion. During the week leading up to the big game between Chicago and Indianapolis, to be played Feb. 4 in Miami, the station will be airing “touchdown” calls during regular programming. The seventh caller to the station after each aired touchdown will receive an HD Radio car radio converter by Directed Electronics.
HD Radio broadcasts on Sports Radio 770 ESPN can be accessed by setting an HD Radio receiver to “770 AM.” In 2005, Sports Radio 770 ESPN became the first radio station in Southwest Florida to launch HD Radio broadcasts. Through HD Radio, AM and FM radio stations can provide listeners with radically improved audio quality, better signal reception, digitally displayed song and artist information and more.
